When the signs come down
What to do when the arrows pointing right and wrong have been taken away.
There are seasons when the path is lit like a runway — every turn labeled, every risk explained. Then there are seasons when someone has taken the signs down overnight.
No right. No wrong. Only weather, and the sound of your own walking.
Don’t wait for a replacement map
The urge is to freeze until a clearer board appears. That freeze can last years. A better move: pick the next honest step that still feels like you, then take it while the light is only half there.
Keep one witness
Tell one trusted person what you’re trying. Not for permission — for company. The search is quieter when someone knows you’re still searching.
